About the Conference

This will be the 21st International conference in the biennial series that began in 1968 as a Conference on the Use of Small Accelerators for Teaching and Research by Jerry Duggan, while he was a staff member at Oak Ridge Associated Universities. When Jerry joined the staff at the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas, he continued the Conference series in 1974, holding the meeting on the UNT campus. It then became known the International Conference on the Application of Accelerators in Research and Industry (CAARI).
