Dear Sponsor:

You are invited to become a sponsor for the 21st International Conference on the Application of Accelerators in Research and Industry (CAARI-2010). CAARI-2010 will be held at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, August 8 through August 13. This conference is organized by the University of North Texas (UNT) and Sandia National Laboratories (SNL).

This will be the 21st International conference in the biennial series that began in 1968 as a Conference on the Use of Small Accelerators for Teaching and Research by Jerry Duggan, while he was a staff member at Oak Ridge Associated Universities.

CAARI brings together scientists from all over the world who use particle accelerators in their research and industrial applications. As an integral part of this conference, a special vendors’ exhibition will be featured. The type of products that are typically advertised or shown during our Industrial Exhibit include, but are certainly not limited to, MeV-energy particle accelerators, ion-optics hardware and software, vacuum components, radiation detectors, spectrometers, electronics and software, medical applications, earth sciences, providers of Ion Beam Analysis (IBA) and implantation, and HV power supplies.

During the past conferences, CAARI has partnered with several national laboratories and universities, the National Cancer Institute, and many industrial vendors to make the conference a success. Sponsorship opportunities include support for the Welcome Reception, poster socials, conference products for the attendees, the Conference Banquet and for student attendance. General contributions are used to provide hotel and registration relief for students who do not have other means to attend the conference. In 2008, CAARI supported 47 students and a few delegates mostly from foreign countries with the help of grants and donations from our partners.

Other areas of conference support include exhibiting your products and/or advertising in the Program Book or on the conference bag.

You can find in this section information about the industrial exhibition, shipping instructions, Exhibitor Schedule, Levels of Conference Support, and the Application to Exhibit or Advertise & Invoice.

For more information on supporting the conference, please contact Margaret Hall, Conference Secretary, at 940-565-3250 or hall@unt.edu.

We look forward to working with you on a successful conference in Fort Worth in 2010!
